Each Paw's Inn litter is thoughtfully planned with health, temperament, and the future of the breed in mind. Once they're here, our puppies are raised as part of everyday life—growing, learning, exploring, and developing the confidence they'll carry with them into their new homes.
Our goal isn't simply to raise beautiful White Shepherd Dogs. It's to give every puppy the best possible beginning so they can grow into the kind of companion Paw's Inn has always been known for: a family dog that can do anything.

From the Very Beginning
From their first days, every puppy receives close individual attention. Early veterinary care, careful monitoring and hands-on handling help us make sure each puppy gets the strongest possible start.
Hands-On From the Start
Long before our puppies are ready to explore the world, they are already learning that people are a safe and familiar part of it. Gentle, daily handling and individual attention begin early, helping each puppy become comfortable with human touch and interaction.
Learning Through Exploration
As our puppies grow, so does their world. New sights, sounds, surfaces, toys and experiences are introduced gradually, encouraging curiosity and confidence while allowing each puppy to explore at their own pace.
These everyday experiences help build adaptable puppies who are better prepared for the many new adventures waiting for them with their future families.
Preparing for Life Beyond Paw’s Inn
As the puppies grow, their experiences begin to prepare them for life with their future families.
House-training foundations begin early, first by teaching the puppies to use a designated potty area and later encouraging them to ask to go outside. They are introduced to collars and leashes, car rides, and new places, while learning that unfamiliar experiences can be approached with confidence.
Around seven weeks, each puppy begins sleeping individually in a crate at night. By introducing this gradually while they are still at Paw’s Inn, the puppies begin learning how to settle on their own and become more comfortable with the independence they will need when it is time to leave their littermates.
Finding the Right Fit
Every puppy has a personality all their own…and every family is looking for something a little different. As the puppies grow, Rose gets to know their individual temperaments, confidence levels, energy, and personalities. At around seven weeks, each puppy also completes a PAT temperament evaluation.
Puppy placement is approached with both the puppy and the family in mind. An outgoing, adventurous puppy may be a wonderful match for a family looking for a hiking companion, while another puppy's quieter, steadier personality may be better suited to a home with young children, an older adult, or a more relaxed lifestyle.
The goal isn't simply to choose a puppy. It's to help create a match that has the best chance of becoming a lifelong partnership.
Going Home
After eight weeks of growing, learning, exploring, and being loved at Paw’s Inn, the puppies are ready to begin the next chapter of their lives.
Puppies leave for their new homes at eight weeks of age or older. Each puppy goes home with their health and registration records, health guarantee, microchip information, and two pounds of the food they are currently eating to help make the transition a little easier.
Each puppy also has a toy of their very own. It appears in their individual photos as they grow and sleeps with them during crate training. When the puppy leaves Paw’s Inn, their familiar toy goes home with them—a little piece of the life they've known from the beginning.
Always Part of the Paw's Inn Family
Going home may be the end of a puppy's first chapter at Paw's Inn, but it isn't the end of the relationship.
Rose remains available to her puppy families throughout their dogs' lives, whether they have a training question, need help working through a problem, or simply want someone to share a new accomplishment with. If a family needs training help closer to home, she is also happy to help them find a trainer in their area.
Each litter has its own group chat, giving families a place to stay connected, share photos and updates, ask questions, and watch the littermates grow through the years.
Once a Paw's Inn puppy goes home, they're still part of the family.
