WATCH ME GROW
From tiny newborn to my new home
From here you can follow all of my updates—from the first day my eyes open to my first outdoor playtime and everything in between. Each week, a new group of photos will be added so you can watch me grow. Right now my adventures may be mostly sleeping and eating, but before you know it, I’ll be carrying this blue chameleon all around the house and yard!
· NEW TO THE WORLD · The first 24 hours
Right now, Blue Boy’s days are mostly about eating, sleeping, and staying close to Mom—but he’s already showing an adventurous streak. After a proper nose-to-nose introduction with his blue chameleon, he set off to explore before deciding his new friend made a pretty comfortable place to curl up.

I think I’ll climb up here…
Yep. This is comfy.
WEEK ONE · GROWING EVERY DAY
Blue Boy is getting a little bigger and stronger every day! At 1.54 pounds, those tiny legs are starting to take him on more adventures—even if his favorite adventure still seems to involve climbing all over his blue chameleon. After a little exploring and practicing his puppy-sized mountain climbing, he was more than ready to curl up beside his old friend for a well-earned nap.

I think I’ll climb up here…
Okay, adventuring is exhausting.
WEEK TWO · EYES OPEN & ON THE MOVE
At two weeks old, Blue Boy is currently the biggest puppy in the litter, weighing 2.94 pounds on September 11. Both eyes are open now, giving him a whole new view of his surroundings—and his turquoise lizard! His pigment has come in beautifully dark from his nose right down to his toes. Blue Boy also has a couple of little markings that make him easy to recognize: one on his right hind leg and another tucked beneath his chin. With his eyes open and those little legs getting stronger, there’s a lot more exploring to do before it’s time to curl back up with his turquoise friend.
Oh! So THAT’S what you look like.
Let me get a closer look…
I can climb this thing now!
Okay… it still makes a pretty good pillow.
WEEK THREE & FOUR · A WHOLE NEW WORLD
Blue Boy is growing fast and weighed in at 4.24 pounds this week, making him the biggest of the litter. These past two weeks have brought all kinds of new experiences—meeting visitors, trying food, and heading outside to explore beyond the familiar puppy area. He’s getting steadier and more confident on those growing legs, and playtime has definitely become much more interesting. His turquoise lizard, once mostly a cozy place to curl up, has officially become something to climb over, chew on, wrestle with, and generally boss around. Blue Boy is looking less like a tiny newborn every day and much more like a busy little puppy with a whole world to discover. 💙
“Look at me sitting up!”
“Hmm… I wonder if this is chewable.”
“Yep. Definitely chewable.”
“I’ve got him now!”
Week 5 – Blue Boy 💙
What a busy and exciting week for our little fluffballs! At five weeks old, the puppies are enjoying their puppy food, spending their days playing on the covered porch when the weather cooperates, and discovering just how much fun visitors can be. They even had a special outing to spend time with the 4-H kids on Monday, followed by an afternoon full of visitors later in the week! Those adorable little ears are beginning to stand up, giving each puppy a look all their own. Best of all, every one of these sweet babies now has a family eagerly awaiting their homecoming! As for Blue Boy, he weighed in at 6.74 pounds on October 2, putting him right between his brothers! During his photo session, he showed off his growing fluff and those irresistibly mismatched puppy ears while investigating his surroundings and getting acquainted with his turquoise lizard. One ear up, one ear down, and plenty of puppy cuteness to go around!
"Hang on a minute! I think I found something very interesting down here!"
"One ear is ready for action! The other one says it'll get up when it's good and ready!" 🐾
"Excuse me, I've got important puppy business to attend to!"
"So... are we going to be best friends, or are you just here for the pictures?" 💙
