WATCH ME GROW
From tiny newborn to my new home
From here you can follow all of my updatesโfrom the first day my eyes open to my first outdoor playtime and everything in between. Each week, a new group of photos will be added so you can watch me grow. Right now my adventures may be mostly sleeping and eating, but before you know it, Iโll be carrying this green hedgehog. all around the house and yard!
ยท NEW TO THE WORLD ยท The first 24 hours
No Mark Girl may be brand new to the world, but sheโs already on the move. Between determined little scoots, wobbly attempts to sit up, and getting acquainted with her green hedgehog, she seems quite interested in exploring everything around her.

WEEK ONE ยท GROWING & GETTING STRONGER
No Mark Girl is growing right along, weighing 1.22 pounds on September 2. This week brought her first vet checkup, and her little nose and paw pads are beginning to show more pigment. Sheโs also getting much more mobile, putting those growing legs to work as she makes her way aroundโand occasionally right overโher green hedgehog. Thereโs still plenty of sleeping to do, though, and her hedgehog continues to make a pretty comfortable place to land after all that exploring.
โMy hedgehog makes a pretty good pillow.โ
โExcuse me, Iโm growing here.โ ๐
โLook at me go!โ
โJust checking in with my hedgehog.โ
WEEK TWO ยท GROWING & GETTING STRONGER
No Mark Girl may be the smallest of the crew, weighing 2.32 pounds on September 11, but those growing little legs are keeping her on the move. Sheโs been busy testing out her newfound mobility and exploring a little farther each day. Her pigment is coming in beautifully and evenly, with a black nose and lips and most of those tiny toe beans turning black too. She may not have quite as much to say as her vocal sister, but she certainly has places to goโand her green hedgehog is apparently along for the adventure.
โOh, I remember youโฆโ
โLook at me sitting up!โ
โJust checking in with my hedgehog.โ
โOkayโฆ you make a pretty good pillow.โ
WEEK THREE & FOUR ยท FINDING MY FEET
No Mark Girl is growing right along, weighing in at 3.82 pounds and earning the title of biggest girl in the litter. Those once-wobbly little legs are getting much steadier, and sheโs becoming more interested in exploring everything around her. Her green hedgehog is still along for the adventure, although these days it seems to be just as useful for climbing on as it is for cuddling. With bright eyes, growing confidence, and plenty of curiosity, sheโs looking more like a little dog every day.
โOkay, where are we going?โ
โJust checking in with my hedgehog.โ
โI have conquered the hedgehog!โ
โConquering is exhausting.โ
Week 5 โ No Mark Girl ๐
What a busy and exciting week for our little fluffballs! At five weeks old, the puppies are enjoying their puppy food, spending their days playing on the covered porch when the weather cooperates, and discovering just how much fun visitors can be. They even had a special outing to spend time with the 4-H kids on Monday, followed by an afternoon full of visitors later in the week! Those adorable little ears are beginning to stand up, giving each puppy a look all their own. Best of all, every one of these sweet babies now has a family eagerly awaiting their homecoming!
Our littlest puppy, No Mark Girl, weighed in at 5.80 pounds on October 2! She's certainly growing up before our eyes, though! Just compare this week's photos with her earlier pictures beside her green hedgehog. Those once-floppy little ears are now standing tall, and she's looking more like a miniature White Shepherd every day. She spent her photo session sitting pretty, looking around, and investigating the blanket, giving us a sweet glimpse of just how much she's changing!
"I know there's a camera somewhere, but something over there looks much more interesting!"
"Look! Both my ears are standing up! Pretty impressive, don't you think?"
"I've got places to go, things to see, and absolutely no time to sit still!"
"Hold on! I think I found something interesting down here!"
