From here you can follow all of my updates—from the first day my eyes open to my first outdoor playtime and everything in between. Each week, a new group of photos will be added so you can watch me grow. Right now my adventures may be mostly sleeping and eating, but before you know it, I’ll be carrying this red lizard all around the house and yard!

Red Boy is already putting those tiny legs to work, scooting and wobbling his way around his new little world. After all that exploring, though, his red chameleon seems to make a pretty comfortable place to curl up and rest.

WEEK ONE · GROWING & CHANGING
Red Boy has had a busy second week! He had his first veterinary checkup and dewclaws removed, and weighed in at 1.66 pounds on September 2. His nose and little toe beans are beginning to darken as his pigment comes in, and he’s getting stronger and more mobile every day. His red chameleon is still close by, although now it seems to be just as useful for climbing on as it is for cuddling.
