From here you can follow all of my updates—from the first day my eyes open to my first outdoor playtime and everything in between. Each week, a new group of photos will be added so you can watch me grow. Right now my adventures may be mostly sleeping and eating, but before you know it, I’ll be carrying this purple hedgehog all around the house and yard!
· NEW TO THE WORLD · The first 24 hours
Red Girl may be brand new to the world, but she’s already doing a little exploring. She spent some time getting acquainted with her purple hedgehog, ventured off on her own, and somehow found herself right back beside her new friend. For now, though, all that adventuring still ends with plenty of sleeping and snuggling close to Mom.

WEEK ONE · GROWING EVERY DAY
Red Girl is growing stronger and more adventurous every day, weighing in at 1.36 pounds on September 2. She’s getting more mobile and spent plenty of time this week investigating her purple hedgehog—climbing over it, snuggling beside it, and discovering that it makes a pretty comfortable pillow after all that exploring.
